Legendary Cameroonian Saxophonist, Manu Dibango dies of Coronavirus
Manu Dibango 86, has succumbed to the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19). The death of the cameroonian artist musician was announced this March 24, on his official facebook page by his family. « It is with deep sadness that we announce you the loss of Manu Dibango, our Papy Groove, who passed away on 24th March 2020 at 86 years old, further to covid 19. His funeral service will be held in strict privacy, and a tribute to his memory will be organized when possible… » The artist has been tested positive to COVID-19 few days ago. Despite intensive treatment in Paris, France, where he was based, Manu Dibango felt prey of the virus that causes deaths worldwide.
