COVID-19 : Cameroon’s Transport Minister Urges Passengers To Put On Face Masks

In a press release issued on April 7, 2020, the Minister of transport in Cameroon has stated clearly the need for all transport passengers to put on face masks before boarding any public vehicle.

Minister Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle  Bibehe in his release, calls for the respect of this new measure as from the 8th April 2020.

The decision of the minister of transport comes within the framework of government’s measures aimed at fighting the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

To ensure the strict implimentation of this measure, minister Ngalle Bibehe calls on the collaboration of all services attached to his ministerial department, operators of the transport sector as well as forces of law and order.

Synergy actions are been multiplied by the government in abid to fight back the pandemic COVID-19 which has so far affected 685 people with 43 treated.
